Philosopher, Writer and Artist, Hazel Speed, has developed this site to showcase her work across various genre and provide easy links to each category.
When Hazel wrote for www.tuckmagazine.com approximately 300 articles were published together with 6 Celebrity Interviews. Although the Publication has now ceased, the Editor has kindly kept access to all articles via the main page link.
‘Non-Verbal Linguisthetics’ is a published Philosophical Paper by Hazel Speed, which addresses why it is that two people can listen to the same piece of music at the same time yet receive different aesthetical messages. There is a published Foreword to this work by the Late Les Reed OBE. Les had given Hazel permission to feature details of the music theme he had written for the film ‘The Lady Vanishes’ (Starring Dame Angela Lansbury).
This work is still available but please make enquiries as to ways it can be purchased.
Websites for artwork include the bright and contemporary/conceptual CandyStoreArt.com site as well as examples of her more traditional/classical work at TerrificArt.com
Enovels can be found on KOBO and Hazel has also produced a range of Art Badges which in themselves are not only great gifts but a type of inexpensive Futures Investment as they will be collector’s items.
Prose and Poetry is also available, ‘Ethereal Aesthetics’ and ‘Autumn Leaves’ with authorised butterfly clipart. This work is available but please make enquiries as to way it can be purchased.
A sample of Hazel’s Trombone Solos is available from her Archives.
